The mission of the Senior Centers of Spartanburg is to facilitate personal independence among mature residents by engaging them in an active and healthy civic and social life.
Senior Centers of Spartanburg County, Inc. is a 501c3 organization chartered in South Carolina, and has been in existence for over 30 years. Our organization is supported through a wide array of programs and grants, some state and federal dollars and, yes, donations.
Your donations are important; they allow us to help seniors in our county every day. You may see a copy of our tax status and IRS form 990 by visiting the donate page.
Many times a decision to contribute financial support comes from first-hand knowledge of the need. Perhaps the Senior Centers of Spartanburg County has helped you or your loved one in the past or is helping you currently. Most gifts are inspired by compassion and love for the elderly, whether that is our parents, grandparents, neighbors, friends or other family members.
A $100.00 donation will help purchase meals five days a week for a month for seniors.
A $50.00 donation will help pay bus transportation cost for a senior
for two months.
A $25.00 donation will help pay for a book and CD that accompanies the Chronic Disease Self Management program or help pay for a monthly birthday party at one of the sites.
