The mission of the Senior Centers of Spartanburg is to facilitate personal independence among mature residents by engaging them in an active and healthy civic and social life.
Description of Services
Senior Centers employees, called Advocates, are dedicated to reaching out to senior adult residents of Spartanburg County and their care givers.
Our Advocates:
Assess senior adults at their request or the request of their families
Make referrals to other agencies/programs
Assist in coordinating benefits
Follow up with senior adults
Connect seniors with any available services they may need
Provide information and assistance
Assist in providing transportation to facilities when appropriate
Make recommendations to Christmas in Action for minor home repairs
Make arrangements for Group Dining when appropriate
